  This is probably very straightforward but is there any easy way to remove the white space/border around the image in the body of my front page?

  I’m using Twenty Eleven and the front page is at http://www.londonfolkfestival.co.uk

  It is possible to edit those settings via CSS edits. But, I noticed that your site is hosted with 1&1 and not WordPress.com

  We can only support WordPress.com sites here.

  But, there is a support forum specifically for self-hosted WordPress sites using your theme, Twenty Eleven. You can check it out at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentyeleven
