I am trying to upload an image on the homepage of my website but it is getting cut off. I tried image optimization but it still does not work. Any suggestion.

hi,
From what I can see, the Radcliffe2 theme’s featured prompt image always fills the entire browser width.
By shrinking or enlarging the image (zoom out, zoom in), I could see 2 different featured prompt image.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thank you for your response. I have posted only one image on the website. Not sure why you see two different things. I checked on my laptop it is always being cut off whereas on my mobile it displays properly.
How do I resolve issue with zoom out and in?
Thank you,

hi,
I believe the zoom in, out effect on the image is part of the ‘responsiveness’ of Radcliffe 2’s Featured Prompt.
Knowing this effect, I would pick a image where the important area is in the center of the image so that it is always visible regardless of a user’s zoom percentage or device.
Another alternative is to pick a different theme.

hi,
I also found a similar issue (featured image crop different) on this ticket.
featured images are going to change shapes depending on your theme and screen size, and in some cases (like in Canard) they’ll change based on where they fit in a lineup, too.
Some themes will pretty consistently crop to a certain shape, so you could consider using that. Just bear in mind Twitter and Facebook and other social sharing systems tend to crop preview images, too.
If you’re pre-cropping on your computer, maybe consider all of the different shapes your theme might use, and crop so the image will work regardless. This usually involves making sure there’s plenty of space around the subject.
If that doesn’t work as well because the feel needs a tightly cropped picture, maybe consider using a different featured image (like a detail that can be cropped however a theme wants it) then put the properly cropped image in the post itself as a non-featured image. Your theme will always display those in their original shape.
