Image placement capability now disabled?

  I used to be able to place images both horizontally (as defined by justification) and vertically (as defined by cursor placement, scrolling up and down the column), at least in the Splendio theme. However, I appear to have lost vertical placement: the WP editor will always force images to the top of the post. Always. Not even placement across the jump works anymore.

  I hope this is just a bug. If I’ve lost my previous vertical placement capability due to company policy, then company policy is simply and truly unacceptable.
