Image Placement in Widget
-
Another shock on my site. Went onto my blog and found my email icon completely out of place (look down the left hand side). Anyone got any ideas how I get it to float left as it’s meant to?
No idea why it’s suddenly decided to do that but its really spoiling the look of my blog. I’ve added the images by typing html into text widgets. What it says at the moment is:
<div class=”textwidget”><img class=”alignleft” style=”float:left;” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/Feeds/feed-icon-orange.jpg” alt=”Sign Up By RSS” width=”70″ height=”79″ /> RSS Feed: What is RSS?</div>
<div class=”textwidget”><img class=”alignleft” style=”float:left;” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/AeroVista/Office/Office_MAIL.jpg” alt=”Sign Up By Email” width=”73″ height=”73″ /> Mailing List: Have all our content emailed you when its posted</div>
<div class=”textwidget”><img class=”alignleft” style=”float:left;” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/Aqua_Gloss/Wiki2.jpg” alt=”About Page” width=”73″ height=”73″ />First Time?: Visit the about page</div> -
Soon as I post I solve it! Lol! If you want the code because you have the same problem here it is:
<div class=”textwidget”><img class=”alignleft” style=”float:left;” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/Feeds/feed-icon-orange.jpg” alt=”Sign Up By RSS” width=”70″ height=”79″ /> RSS Feed: What is RSS?</div>
<div class=”textwidget”>
<img class=”alignleft” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/AeroVista/Office/Office_MAIL.jpg” alt=”Sign Up By Email” width=”73″ height=”73″ /> Mailing List: Have all our content emailed you when its posted</div><div class=”textwidget”><img class=”alignleft” style=”float:left;” src=”http://images.nerdbusiness.com/free-web-icons/Aqua_Gloss/Wiki2.jpg” alt=”About Page” width=”73″ height=”73″ />First Time?: Visit the about page</div>

I’m wondering if it’s your browser. I’m using IE7 and it’s aligned left perfectly with the other 3 icons.

Try adding this at the end of the text widget and see if it works
<p style="height:0;clear:both;"> </p>
