Image placement problems since upgrade

    I am having problems with placing images within my posts since the upgrade. Previously, you could place your cursor where you wanted the image within the post and place it there. Now, all images load to the top of the post and you must drag them where you want them. The editing window is so small now that I must expand to full view for every action. What used to take may 5-15 minutes for 6-12 images, now takes 1-2 hours of frusteration moving between screen from the editng window to the media gallery to the editing window to full view then draging the image which gets hung up as you go through the post. We seemed to have also lost the ability to stack images horizontally. If you place and image in a post, and want to place another to the right on the same line, it just bounches down to the next line.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for work-arounds for these problems? I do not know HTML, so please make it simple.

    What browser and version and Operating System are you using? Different browsers have different problems and different workarounds. I’m not finding these same kinds of errors using Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Windows 98.

    Have you tried the “Upload Gallery” function? I haven’t, but it’s designed to enable you to post a lot of images at once. You should still be able to cut and paste them. Report back if this is not the case.
