image positioning

An image in a new post sits at the top left of my text and text won’t wrap around it. Would be much better to the right with text wrapping. Looking thru the FAQs here and saw a couple posts about using visual editor to right, left, or center images, but I don’t see how to access this or select my image to do so. Any advice on how to do this would be much appreciated.

Once you’ve opened the post in the editor, click on the image. Then click on the “right align” button that you’d also use for text. You should see it change immediately.

I’m not clear on how to open a post in the editor. Right now I’m going to manage, then post, then edit. Can edit text here, but that’s about it.

Problem solved. On a Mac, use Firefox instead of Safari, which doesn’t seem to see the editor.

TinyMCE – the visual rich text editor used by wordpress – doesn’t yet fully support Safari. On the TinyMCE website Safari support is still listed as “experimental.” Hopefully with Safari now ported to Windows also, and more people using windows trying Safari, they will speed up their support of Safari. Hey! I can dream, can’t I?
