Image posts- numbering the images for ease of readers

  How can I add sequential posts (Image posts) so that readers can flick through individual images without having to click a link?

  I think inserting an image gallery will work for you. You can either insert it into a post or you can add a gallery widget to your sidebar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
