Image problem with Facebook

Hi,
The French forum sent me here. We have a problem with the images of our articles on Facebook. This is not the correct image that appears. Here were the last two articles published :

I’m having this same issue. It just started about 2 days ago – worked fine until then.
Instead of pulling the featured image an image from the footer is being posted with the Facebook link. I have had to go back and correct them manually.

We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

I’m sorry for the trouble! We have had other reports of the same issue recently, and our team is investigating it to try to pinpoint the cause and see if we can fix it from our end. I’ll let you know if I get an update on that.
In the meantime, if the wrong image appears on Facebook you’ll need to manually share those posts on Facebook to get the correct image. Sorry for the inconvenience.
