Image referencing as a link

  How do I reference an image as a link? For instance – Featured image via Flickr user Name (with the name being the hyperlink to the webpage containing the image. I’ve tried doing it as a markdown, but it didn’t work!

  You can’t do it with featured images. You can do it easily with regular images, though. I just use the visual editor, click on the image, put in the link and alt text, and away you go.
