OK, I can remove the border with style=”border:0″ placed into the img src HTML code.

I hope this works. I also used to remove the borders with one easy step before this change. Ugh.

@mef1974 I hear you loud and clear! The amount of time to takes to accomplish what we did before is just awful! I haven’t even attempted learning any of the new text editor workarounds for borders because I was concentrating on figuring out the “tooltip” hacks. argh…such a time consuming situation!

**UPDATE**

Our developers have updated the image details modal and brought back most of the advanced functionality as seen here:

Currently, they are having discussions about bringing back borders/margin functionality.

please bring back the borders function. I miss the old media editing format so much because of the border editing. It does wonders for my blog :)

Grace. that’s certainly welcome news.

There are clearly many who seek the return of borders. If that comes back it would be good too.

There are also many who would welcome the return of percentage scaling. For that I suggest the following:

When I delete an inserted image from the visual editor, by clicking on the X, it leaves this unnecessary line of code for me to delete (it is an inconvenience). -> <p style="text-align: center;"></p>

OOOPS! I spoke too soon. Not good news because it doesn’t seem to work and even worse than that because the latest change seems to have affected text editor as well! Does anyone at WP know what they are doing I wonder?

I can no longer embed Gist code in the posts. I normally just put the link URL in the post and it automatically embeds but that no longer works. I tried using the shortcode as well, but that’s broken as well.
