  After scaling down images already on my website and pressing the update button, the saved space is not reflected in the overall space remaining.
  Please help

  Hi,
  It applies to all my blog.
  After downscaling images there is no change to the amount of space available overall.
  The swift ware seems to look at media library only not what actual images are posted.
  On your free plan- this would mean downscaling every image separately before changing it in the media library and uploading it again in a specific post. Nightmare
