Image resizing for low resolutions
-
Ok, here’s the thing; I have a photoblog using the “Rubric” template. I chose this one because it allows for fairly large images. As it is, my horizontal images can be as large as 800 pixels, while I put the vertical ones at about 600. To me, everything looks perfect, mostly because I use a widescreen monitor with a 1680×1050 resolution. Unfortunately, for some people who come to read my blog, their resolution seem to have a problem with my image size thus making horizontal images to litteraly overlap the right sidebar.
Any way to remedy this?? I’m also including the adress of my blog so you can see for yourself.
Thanks!

When inserting an image there is an option for full size or not, either way wordpress makes a link to the original doesn’t it?
Meaning clicking on the image would allow seeing it full size?
I have not been happy with the image quality when wordpress shrinks the images though, so I size them in photoshop and erase the measurements in the wordpress code.
I haven’t really answered your question but maybe I’ve been helpful.
I also put everything in a table, because of the problem of different screen sizes. This stops the text spreading right across a page on a large screen like you have.
