Image Resolution

    I always edit the size of my pictures before I upload them to my wordpress account. I know they are showing up in my media library at their proper full size, but when I go to my blog and click a picture or go to the source, it is a terribly ugly upscaled version of a low res image. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting somewhere I don’t know about?
