Image resolution after upload

  I just bought Full Frame and am trying to make my first steps in WordPress.
  But unlike the demo page, I noticed that the images I upload for the full frames all look low resolution, whatever the size I upload them.
  Hope someone can help.

  Do you mean the images you add to posts? Or the featured images you’re using for page headers?

  If the quality of the images you insert into posts isn’t right, you can adjust that before you insert them. In the Media box where you add images, make sure you select the right size: http://glui.me/?i=284i9jx8aquzi5v/2013-10-22_at_12.35.png/

  That said, your images seem to look fine to me. Do you have an example you can point me to?

  No issue with the post images. It´s the header images that seem low resolution and a little blurred. For example, the header image for the following post (http://thegravesfactor.com/2013/10/15/ulysse-nardin-marine-chronograph-manufacture/) was uploaded with the right size and resolution, but it looks low resolution and out of focus.

  aah. I see what’s going on there now. It’s applying the background image, but putting it in at 1024px wide.

  Is there a setting for this anywhere in Theme Options or in Themes > Customize? Or on Settings > Media? Maybe post a screenshot of that screen if you can.

  On Themes/Customize/CSS there is a setting option available and set as default for 1280px. Changing it to 1500px, for example, only widens all the pictures out of frame.

  @thegravesfactor Did you look at the theme’s Showcase page on setting up the theme? http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/full-frame/ Click on the “Support” button for more information.

  Also, paying for a premium theme gives you access to a special Premium Theme forum for the theme. “Full Frame” can be found here http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/full-frame

  You must be logged into WordPress.com with the account that purchased the Premium theme in order to post in that forum.
