image resoution (crunching?)

  Hi,
  Is there a way to increase image resolution on my blog? or bypass the crunching process?

  I happen to use a monitor with 1920×1020 resolution, so i have to zoom in a little bit on the images. And when I do this, the image becomes aliased

  The image’s resolution is never altered during upload. If you upload a 1920×1020, the original file will still be 1920×1020. Of course, there are specific large, medium, and thumbnail version of your images created, but the original is still full size.

  As for the crunching, there’s unfortunately no way around it.
