Hi! I’ve activated Image Rotator and added links to ten pictures to have a slide show on my home page. I pasted the short link onto the home page, however only the outline of where the slide show would be appears. Does anyone know why the slide show isn’t playing. Please help! Thanks!!!

Hi –
veroniqueory.wordpress.com is a private site so I am unable to view it.
Are you running the most recent version of your web browser? http://browsehappy.com/
Try clearing your browser cache with these instructions:

Hi! Thanks for your help. I updated the web browser and clear the browser cache. The slide show plugin I am trying to use is called Image Rotator. Do you know any troubleshooting for this plugin in particular?
It’s listed as active and asks for links for each picture in the slide show. So, I’ve put links to ten pictures I’d like to post, however when I preview the page only the outline of where the slideshow would be appears. Please let me know if you have ideas to resolve this. Thanks! -

Re: your wordpress.com hosted site at http://veroniqueory.wordpress.com/ and every wordpress.com hosted site.I’m sorry but if you are reading anything that makes you think that bloggers can install plugins on sites hosted by wordpress.COM, then you are mistaken/misinformed. We have never had that ability. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability is provided on wordpress.COM hosted sites for security and stability reasons. No upgrade changes that reality. Here at wordpress.COM we have built-in plugins. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

Oh, I believe I may have been logged in to an old account. I am asking about a wordpress.com site, not a blog.

A blog is a website. The only difference is semantics and structure. The relevant item is the URL so we can verify hosting.
What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.
