Image Scares Away the Text!

Normally when I upload a picture in the upper left hand corner of a block of text, I can run text along the right hand side, providing the picture is not too big. Tonight I cannot seem to make it work that way, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am doing differently. The text only starts on the bottom of the image and will not fill the right hand side. I have tried several pictures and even deleted the original post and started over. Nothing seems to work. Can someone help me?

I should add that i have even tried adding old images to other drafts and this is happening every time. I can’t figure out if I have switched a default setting or something. It’s very frustrating.
