Image shows in editor but not on page.

I have created a home page with a paragraph of text and I would like to have an image above the text. I have uploaded the image and in the editor the image appears when inserted. I save the page and everything appears to have worked correctly. However when I view the site only the text appears.
I have tried the downloader on WP and also tried linking the image from Photobucket with identical results. Any ideas out there on how to make this work?

Can you give us the URL of the image as you’re inserting it into the post, either the WP address or the Photobucket one?

I have had problems with some jpegs.
If the thumbnail shows in the media library then it seems to work.
If no thumbnail, then it doesn’t work.
Saving from Photoshop is a safe bet.
Also last week in the forum someone said images in folders on photobucket don’t transfer.
And from external link I do not include dimensions. -
I used Photobucket just today, twice. It works fine; that blogger was probably copying the wrong code, or trying to use images from a private album.

I have this problem, too. All images I ‘ve inserted, I can see it if I still writing or logging in. But when I log out, I can’t see the images. I don’t want to use photobuket host because their server is too slow.
