Image Shows in Visual Editor but not in Preview

  I’m trying to insert the following image into my blog http://cdn.tradingeconomics.com/charts/embed.png?s=wcsdgbr&d1=19950101&d2=20151231&url2=/united-states/government-budget&title=false&h=300&w=600&ref=/united-kingdom/government-budget
  It shows up fine in the visual editor but when I go to preview or publish, it no longer displays properly. The problem appears to be that WordPress is removing the part of the URL of image after embed.png, like this:http://cdn.tradingeconomics.com/charts/embed.png
  Is there any way to overcome this problem without uploading the image to WordPress?

  Thanks, really though I was looking for a way to use the original URL. I’m guessing that WordPress is removing the querystring part of the URL possibly for security reasons. I know that tradingeconomics.com allow embeds of their URLs. I’m not sure if there would be any copyright issues with uploading the image and then embedding but I don’t suppose it makes too much difference.

  I would agree with your query string assumption.

  You would have to check on the copyright implications, of course.
