Image Shows up Twice
-
Can someone help me?
For the last several months whenever I add an image to my posts they look great on the posts own page (with it’s unique URL). However, when you click to the blog’s main page, one of the images shows up twice, one slightly smaller, on top of the image.
Here’s the type of code at for the image. Nothing seems out of the ordinary.
<img class=”alignnone size-full wp-image-4901″ src=”https://suburbanmountaineer.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/2016-03-30_12-01-10.jpg” alt=”2014-02-30_11-02-09.jpg” width=”2656″ height=”1494″ />What do you think? Where should I look to in order to fix this?
Thanks a ton!

Yes, I did try to fiddle with the featured image stuff. None of them were ever featured, but I tried to feature/unfeature them.
Thanks for the tip on moderator/staff replies.

Staff will respond as soon as they work their way forward through threads tagged with modlook that were tagged prior to this one being tagged.

You can fix that from this page:
https://suburbanmountaineer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=genesis
Just deselect the option for “Include the Featured Image?” under “Content Archive.” In short, the theme wants to show a featured image currently so it looks through the post and grabs any image large enough to display. Unchecking that option should do the trick though!
For future reference to anyone, I found that here:
