Image size & Template

I have uploaded several images (originally 600px width) to my blog (Iceburgg template).
It seems the size is too big since the template has been stretched.
In the FAQ -‘Iceburgg .. 550px’ is specified, hence I changed images to 550px but the result is the same. Changing image size to 520px and 500px did not affect the corrupt template -any ideas?Thanks in advance!

I just changed my test blog to iceberg and compared it with your blog, and everything looks the same as far as the template goes. It appears that you have reduced the image sizes considerably. Is this problem solved?

Can you see the white gap in my comment boxes?
No matter what size I change my images, they are still there…this is strange given that I have always used 500px images. -
Ah, you are talking about the space where your avatar would be I think. The white square in the right top corner of your comments? It appears like you have a “blank” avatar, which is white, and that is what you are seeing. If you want it to disappear on your comments, create a blank grey avatar with the same color as the background for your comments. Do be aware that when logged in, any blog you comment on will show your avatar as that grey box, just as now it will show with the white box.

The light blue comment box with the date should be a rectangle (there is currently a white line near the bottom breaking it up)…what is causing this?
I have not commented on my own posts, the problem is not my avatar. -
Well, then I’m possibly confused. Are you talking about the blue box say, under “10 Conservatory” on the main page that has the date and “responses” in it?

I’ve never used, or played with the iceberg theme, but since I’m seeing the same thing on my test blog which has no images on it at this time, I assume that is part of the theme design.

On your test blog, do you have a white stripe under the responses, then the bottom of the blue box? If so, I think there might be something wrong with the template (I’m sure it wasn’t there previously).

Yes, that is exactly what I see. I know wordpress has been updating themes and this could possibly be due to that upgrading process.
We are volunteers here in the forum and we are not privy to any information on changes and such. Perhaps a staff member will pop in and give us an answer, or you could contact support and see if they will enlighten you.

I wouldn’t refer to it as a comment box problem when you contact staff as then will think you mean the box you type comments into. I would refer to it as the blue box below the post title with the date and comment responses.
