  There are only two sizes for uploading images-thumbnail and full size.initially the pictures could be altered to desired size. why this sudden change? Help! I want to alter my images to desired size.Thanks

  I size all my images using Microsoft Paint. Others use photoshop or similar programs. Because I do that first the desired size of my images are the “full size” after they are uploaded into wordpress. Using this approach will solve your problem.

  Moved to support.

  I know we have a large number of threads here in the forums where folks were resizing the thumbnails and not understanding why they looked so bad. That might be why.
