Image size

  So I just recently changed my theme. I really like it, and made some cool changes. The one thing I have noticed is many of the large size images I use on my blog don’t show the whole picture. Many of the images I copied the image from somewhere else and pasted it into my blog, so I can’t resize them. On my old theme, the images were downsized automatically to fit the size of my blog page, but not with the new theme. Is there a way I can change the size of my images to go back to the way it used to be when it automatically changed them to smaller pictures?
