Dear all, I have the blog danskmode.com. Images are very important for the blog. I would like to have my images just as broad as the header. Right now the right side of the page is used for bloglovin and arcive… These I would like to have as part of the header. Like a page i the header. The look I want to achieve is just like this – http://boohyouwhore.com/
Can any of you help me with that?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Dont really see how I can use it. All it does is create more pages, no?

You are using the Twenty Ten theme. You can remove widgets here > Appearance > Widgets
By default, Twenty Ten uses a two-column layout with lots of room for widgets. If you’d like to hide the widgets and focus on the writing for a particular page, just choose the “One column, no sidebar” template. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/
Custom headers
Twenty Ten comes with a selection of great header images. It’s easy to switch between any of the included header images or upload your own. You can even use a different custom header image for each post by including a Featured Image when you publish a new post. -
I tried just draging the widgets away, but when I go to my blog it stil show a search field in the right sidebar – where can I find the “one column, no sidebar” template, if been looking all over… Thank you for your kind help! =)

When you create a page and look at the far right hand column in the Page Attributes module you will find these two choices:

__one column, no sidebar -
You need a wide theme in which the sidebar is optional or which has bottom widgets only – see here:

ok, but that is only for new pages. What about the main page, the one you get to when you enter the blog? The one called home, where do I edit it?

Im already using twenty ten theme, which has sidebars optional. I just cant figure out how to delete the sidebar, and make the images as broad as the header… Maybe look at my blog Danskmode.com so you understand. Do you know what to do?

Sorry, I don’t need to look at your blog to understand: you need to consult my post to select a suitable theme. When I say sidebar optional or bottom widgets only, I mean for the whole blog (including your main page, which is what you want), not for static pages only (which wasn’t what you’re looking for).

Sorry I cant follow – I already have theme with optional sidebars. What Im looking for is a page, where my posts and pictures fill out the entire blog. Who do I need to consult? – sorry for being so confused, Im very new at this.

There are some theme that you can switch to that will provide what you want ie. to use the whole space for your images. Twenty Ten is NOT among them.
