Image size existential question
-
I have zero clue about what’s happening with the size of my images. This seems to me like a new problem after I changed many options in the past few days.
I have put 1920 as the size for “large size” in “setting – media”. The photos are 1920 on my Media Gallery. Yet they are served as 1024 wide max on the blog. Why?
Vertical images look sharper because they get more total pixels, for horizontal it’s a mess. I am almost sure it wasn’t like this before. What could have changed it?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve found this topic: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/can-i-alter-my-theme-to-show-my-pictures-bigger/
I’m realizing that maximum width of images is dependent on the theme. And is not editable.
I am not even sure where to check this number, it isn’t written down anywhere I can see.
