Image size on Kelly theme

  Hello CSS Team @ WordPress

  Image size on Kelly theme. That’s my question for today. How can one enlarge the image?

  Be specific please. If you are not specific then you are wasting your time and the time of those who try to answer you. Exactly which image do you mean?
  header image
  featured images( In your theme they are 1200 by unlimited height.)
  images in posts and pages

  O.K. I posted two images on the first post of my blog. One is larger and the other is smaller. Any reason for it?

  No, I am not talking about the headers image.

  Yes. I have already submitted this very question to CSS Support Team. On Kelly theme the images are large and covers larger area. I am not sure how to make the pic larger without making it blurry.

  You cannot make an image larger than it’s original upload size without making it blurry. The image you upload must be larger to start with if you would like to make it show up larger on a web page.

  Thank you, again. You are right. My son was telling me to download medium or larger size pixel images. I wind up choosing small size in order to take maximum advantage of my credits on “BigStockPhoto.”

  Aha, I see. You might not need the largest version from the stock photo site, but you do need one that’s at least as big as you want to display it on screen.

  Oh well. Though, I am not an expert, but I must confess that I am learning a whole lot from you and rest of WordPress wonderful team.

  Small size = 900 x 683
  Medium size = 1600 x 1215
  Large size = 2800 x 2170

  Now, which one will be ideal to secure in order to have a larger pic on the post?

  This will depend on your theme. A good guideline to use would be to check the Media Width size in the Appearance > Customize > CSS panel in your blog dashboard.

  So images that are at least 1200px or wider would be good for that theme.
