Image size on quick posting always goes to thumbnail.
-
Hello happiness support. I notice that you have changed the format of your quick posting from the tag at the top. Previously I just had to upload a picture, add a caption and it would put the image full size into the post. Now that you’ve upgraded it, I have to upload a picture to a gallery, then post. I’ve tried all the formats for the post but it always comes up as a thumbnail. So then I have to go to edit, delete the picture, go to media, reload the picture and the update, adding about five or six steps. Why have you made it harder to post? I really liked the previous quick post version, so I’m, not sure why you’ve made changes to make it worse. Please help.

Hi there,
We did indeed recently change the way in which one of our post editors behaved, and when we did so the normal “Add Media” button was left out. This is actually being changed soon, so you should be able to get back to blogging as usual through this method.
In the mean time though, I hate for you to go through so many additional steps. Our whole intent with this new rollout was to create an easier flow for you. As a workaround until that button is in place, any time you want to write a post with media in it, may I suggest you use our old editor? You can find it by going to your Dashboard and then to Posts >> Add New. It is fully featured, including the ability to add media right from this screen.
I apologize for the inconvenience and I appreciate your patience while we work through these kinks!

It’s all good now. Thanks. I did end up using the old dashboard to post as you mentioned above. Glad it’s all up and running now.

I’m glad that you’ve found it. It is indeed back and everything seems to be working OK. Let me know if you run in to any issues though!
