Image size too wide or big then theme

I’m having a problem with my blog. When I upload a picture and place in inside a post, it takes too big place and doesn’t show exact size. I tried several times to resize it using landscape or by the codes.

It is really a tough work and takes too long time, as different pictures have different sizes. So I think wordpress should automatically resize the picture size that fits best with the theme used in the blog concerned.

I’m asking the users is there any other good way using what I may post more quickly which will help me by resizing the image automatically?

My blog is here. You’ll find the images at the latest posts. It took too long time to resize them as well.

The latest changes are supposed to prevent images being too big to fit in the columns. Are you removing the code from them? I mean the caption code, the one in brackets; that’s the one with the constraints in it.

If you’re using Sandbox for a theme, however, I don’t think there are any size constraints at all, since of course it’s all customizable and they don’t know what column width you’re going to pick. In that case, I think you’re going to have to keep fiddling with it.

Just out of curiosity, why are you not using thumbnails? I do agree with you that it takes time to resize images, but I think that every serious blogger should take the time to do that and not expect WordPress to do all the work for him/her. Here’s a nice and free tool you can use: http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm
