Image sizing & alignment issues on blog
-
Hello,
I want my sizing of images/layout to resemble those on this blog:
However, if you look at my blog page, the images won’t line up side-by-side, even though they do in my editing view. For example, the shot of the man on the bridge in black & white, and the shot of his bride in black at white (toward the top). They should be side-by-side, but just won’t get there. My images are giving me problems when it comes to sizing and layout.
If you can help that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,

Hi, Rachel.
From the editing view, click on the second picture you described, then click on the pencil icon to open the Image Details. Under Display Settings, which alignment is selected?

Hello,
“None” is selected for both pictures. When I’ve tried other options, it still would not give the appearance of the images on the other blog. :/

Hmm… Did you try selecting “Left” for the first photo and “Right” for the second?
The theme you’re using is a paid theme, so I won’t be able to test it. But using other themes, I have been able to get pics to line up side-by-side by using those alignment attributes.
If that doesn’t work, there is another way. You can use image editing software to combine the two photos into one image.

Thank you for helping me with this. I’m attempting to make my own templates in Photoshop, so I can simply edit photos for new blogs with the same template to save time.
Does anyone recommend any ready-made templates? I really like the clean, simply layouts like in the link above.
Thank you!
