Image storage space

    If I delete a picture from my media library, will it disappear from my blog post?

    Yes. The media library shows all the images you have uploaded to your blog: if you delete an image from the media library, it ceases to be stored, so its URL fetches nothing, so the browser will display an “x” or a “?” or the like in place of the image.

    Each wordpress.com blog comes with 3GB of free space for images and other files. If you upload properly sized images (as you seem to be doing), this space is enough for many thousands of images. For example, in my tests blog I have uploaded around 900 images so far; used space: 6%.
