Image Swap keeping same URL

  Hi
  I am wanting to test a theory and wondered if somebody may be able to help.
  I want to know whether I can swap an old image to a new image without amending the original image URL.

  This is possible by using the file manager via your hosting company, however is this at all possible with a free wordpress site?

  For example, take the image on this blog (my own test blog).
  https://andybookie.wordpress.com/

  Can I upload a new image to this URL
  https://andybookie.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/cheltenham-festival-dress-code.jpg

  And therefore swap the old image with a new image keeping the same URL?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
