Image Thumbnail
-
I think that something has changed. In my posts I place a thumbnail image that links to the full size image. I align it to the left and allow the text to flow to the right.
I must be missing something but I cannot figure out how to do this now. I used to upload an image to the gallery, select the image, and this would automatically be done, but something has apparently changed somewhere and I cannot figure out how to do this.
Any help in getting me straight would be appreciated.

There are known issues with images in the new editor https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/editor-feedback?replies=739
If you use the classic editor there aren’t any issues. You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
To create posts in the classic editor for you that link ishttp://glsmyth.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing. -
Thanks for the information. The new editor is pretty much a disaster for me, as I have encountered other problems, but as long as the old one is available then I am fine.
