Image title attribute

  When I add an image from the media library into a post, the title is no longer included as the title attribute. This used to be automatically included – is this change the result of an upgrade or am I missing something?

  Howdy,

  This was a change that was added to the core WordPress product (what powers WordPress.com as well as every other WordPress-based site) for accessibility purposes.

  The addition of the title attribute interferes with some screenreaders used for visually-impaired visitors.

  The title attribute won’t be stripped out, if you’d like to still add it, you can. In deference to accessibility, it isn’t added automatically any longer.
