Image to the Top Menu Bar on Twenty Fourteen theme

Hi,
If anyone knows how I can add my logo as the home button on my website I’d really appreciate it. I had downloaded the Menu Image plugin and that worked for a few hours and for some reason it stopped working. When I select the image I’d like to use it doesn’t even show me a preview anymore.
If there is any other way to make this happen please let me know.
