Image too small
-
Hi! I have an author site I’m working on and I can’t get the image size to be appropriate in the columns vs. the text. I’ve looked up solutions, but somehow everything I try just makes the image smaller.
The specific page I’m trying to edit is the “Books” page. I want to add my cover next to the blurb, but it keeps showing up as tiny.
I’d appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

Hi there,
I see that you are making your page layout here using Row and Stack blocks, which are limiting in that there is not an easy way to set specific widths (or proportions) for these containers.
Instead you may wish to use the Media & Text block, which will allow you to set an image to one side or the other (and specify its size) and then add text blocks to the side of it and not have them intrude into the image space.
Use the Media & Text block to place an image or video side-by-side with text. Add the Media & Text Block To add the Media & Text block, click on the + Block Inserter icon and search for “media”. Click it to add the block to the post or page. 💡 Using your keyboard, you can also type /media on a new line and press enter to quickly add a new Media & Text block. AddingOne thing you will want to try is to add the Media and Text block below your current content, then set up the image. After you have added the image, you can copy your text blocks (from what you have already) and paste those into the Media & Text block.
This should move an exact copy of your current text into the block, and once you have safely done that you can delete the text you have now so only the Media & Text block remains.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
