Image Upload Error

Each time I try to upload an image I receive this message. I have tried multiple browsers and the image is not large.
1 file could not be uploaded because an error occurred while uploading.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Allowed file extensions for images include GIF, JPG, JPEG and PNG and the maximum upload size is 1GB but you don’t want to be anywhere close to that as that is 1/3 the available storage on free-hosted WordPress.com websites.
If you are having trouble uploading, first try logging out and clearing your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of all websites you are logged into) and then log back in to WordPress.com. If that doesn’t work, please try using a different browser than the one you usually use or try from a different location.
