Image Upload Issue

I just read the FAQ saying there are upload issues and to report problems with specificity.
Question #1)
Is this where I “report problems”?If so here’s the more important question:
Question #2)I have tried using both MAC and PC to upload images from each computer to two different sites to no avail.
The images appear in my gallery but not in my post or on my page. I have gone to the gallery to try to insert them directly but I have the same problem.Here’s the problem:
I click ‘choose images to upload’, choose my file, and wait as the status bar moves along and then says “crunching”. Then I see a thumbnail of my image and I am able to enter the title, caption, etc.
On different occasions I have tried clicking each link button (none, file URL, post URL) but it made no difference. I have selected different alignments but I have always chosen “medioum” for size and then clicked ‘Insert into post’.
At this point, the WP pop out window that I am working in goes blank so that I see a black outline and white background. There is still a back bar at the top of the box with an x in it. I click the x, and am taken back to the “write post (or page)” site, but there is no image in my page or post.
I don’t see an error message.Anyone know what’s happening?

I have had exactly this.
I found better results when I used the first tab of my browser, and I did NOT resize the editable text window, in other words left it at it’s default size. Also inserting the image first thing before adding any text, sometimes I have to copy the code and do<img src=”xxx”> myself.
I work in internet cafes, so many variables.
But I think wordpress are ironing out some bugs on this new version.
Finally I am new here so am no authority. -
there should be a checkbox saying if you a thumbnail of your picture on your current post. check that select the size of the thumbnail. it should show.
