Have tried using IE as well. No use.
Firefox is my preferred browser and have been using is consistently for months.
Made no configuration alterations to my computer recently. Use the same computer consistently and I am the only person who uses it.

You should be able to upload images. Based on your description, it sounds like there could be an issue with your connection. I tested image uploads, and they are working for me. Can you contact support as raincoaster suggested?

My connection is theoretically at 100.0Mbps
It is the same connection as I have been using consistently for many months now.
One thing I have noticed today is that connection to WordPress seems very sluggish
I ran a full scan using Norton 360 and one level cookie was found else all else appeared OK

I’m having similar problem uploading images. I have tried updating everything I can think of and still won’t work. When I click “post image” screen goes blank. I’ve never had problems like this in the past, please help – themolokainews.com. Mahalo!

Oops! you did not post the URL for the blog in question. Staff are working very hard behind the scenes since yesterday performing major maintenance work and maybe even doing an upgrade too for all know. What I do know is that they are also responding to many support tickets on the issues arising as they try to get the original work done. Please be sure that you send all your details to them and then wait patiently for them to get back to you. If you can plan to do something else off-line this weekend then that might be a good idea. -
I was able to upload a full size image. When I tried to upload a medium image it wouldn’t right justify or include the caption. I tried a different image on a different post and it wouldn’t post at all. I clicked “insert into post” and it went blank. Please help. I will be patient but I need help. I’m having exactly the same difficulties as mentioned above when trying to upload images. Have tried most browsers and am getting the same problems – including the sluggish behaviour. I’ve been using WordPress for blogging for quite some time and have never encountered these issues before. The media file uploader sometimes appears to have worked, but the image never appears on the site! Any info would be appreciated. http://learnictblog.wordpress.com

Have you tried the cache clear? What kind of file are you trying to upload (specifically, like jpg or bmp or whatever). Also, what ISP are you using? British customers of Sky reported big problems with images on WP.com, because Sky decided to ban WP files for some stupid reason.

Could it be a Firefox issue I am running 3.5.9
Probably it’s not Firefox – other than perhaps you needing to clear your cache. But I would definitely recommend upgrading to 3.6.2 purely for security reasons.
