Image upload not working

  I’m trying to upload a pdf file to my blog post and when it goes to the media library it views as a ‘holding’ image, not the actual image. Then if I click ‘insert into post’ all that shows in the post is the name of the file. What am I doing wrong?

  Hi there,

  When you upload a PDF to your blog, you can then insert a link to that PDF into a blog post. Visitors can use that link to download the PDF file. We have more about that here: Uploading Documents

  If you’d like to actually embed the PDF in your blog post, so visitors can read it right there on your blog, you can use Scribd to do that. We have a guide for that here: Scribd

  Thanks very much – it was the embedding thing I was after, so I’ll give that a try.
