image upload problem
-
Whenever I upload my images all I get is a red x. I tried to put them in a text widget in my sidebar and when I looked at my site it just showed up as a red x on my site as well. I thought it would be because the image was too big, so I used infranview to resize. Then it wouldn’t let me upload my picture saying that it didn’t meet security standards. I’m confused.

I’m having a similar problem. Images in uploads area are all gone, just showing title text. 4 images on my blog are gone, rendering only as alt text or nothing.
I replied to support email thread from yesterday when only 1 image was missing. Seems like the problem is spreading…

The pic in the widget is back (bigger than it was ) but the manage upload page is still a bunch of X’s.

I sent support a message yesterday with all of the info needed, and it was quickly fixed by Mark.
Very cool WP support!Unfortunately, there is another image missing again this morning, and I am also having the problem of no thumbnails showing in the uploads section.
Have sent support another message.
I have the faith in these guys! : )Maybe the server needs a enema!! LoL!

My thumbnails still just show question marks, even after reload…. I’ll be sending a support message.

Please force a page reload.
ctrl+f5 (Windows)
apple+r (Mac)
f5 (Linux)Please do this before sending any supports. Please also tell me where to look for the missing image. You know your blog, I do not, Without knowing where to look I will ask and that takes longer for any fix.

@topnax
Although there is a rumor that Mark our KeyMaster has a magic ring, we volunteers are not equipped with x-ray vision, mind reading capabilities or crystal ball reading skills. Consequently, we do not know the url for your blog. Please force a page reload.
ctrl+f5 (Windows)
apple+r (Mac)
f5 (Linux)
Please do this and report the results. -
I have just logged into my blog and my photos are MIA… When I click the “manage uploads” the response is “there are no images to display!!” I did a CNTRL f-5 and that didn’t work. I know support is closed today. So I can’t even send a ticket into support. 9:31 est, Montreal.
Thanks

Wow! “there are no images to display” means that you need staff help for sure. You could email support at this domain dot com.

I’m having the same problem with my photo. When I go to manageuploadsbrowse I get the message “There are no attachments to show.” I did the ctrl-f5 thing, but that didn’t work.

Please send a feedback into staff because it sounds like your blog needs a technical “fix”. And volunteers do not have backend access to blogs, only staff do.
