image upload problem

I’ve been cruising along with a Mac and the latest version of FireFox with no problems until a couple of days ago – suddenly I could not upload images to my blog – with either file uploader, Flash or Browser. I’ve kicked the tires – all of them – but nothing seems to happen. (I have 15 years experience building Web sites from scratch and have been using blogging software for seven years, so I sort of have a rough feel for this stuff, though I’m far from being a techy or expert.)
What is happening is this: I go through a normal upload and everything looks fine until I click “insert” and then the upload window just turns blank and nothing happens. I have a solution. I changed to Safari and all works fine. SO my problem is solved – sort of. But I still would like to know what’s going on – any other Mac/Firefox users encountering this?

Can you give us a link to your blog, starting with http? It might be just your particular blog.

Have you done the cookie dance? Log out, clear cache and cookies, restart computer?
All looks okay to me, except one possible issue. You didn’t paste this post from Word, did you?

No – I didn’t paste from Word. I wrote in the Web – but I’ll try the cookies dance, since I only did the two-step and not the whole she-bang ;-)

I’ve started having image upload issues on Sunday 12th. The images do get uploaded but minus the frame which states the title of the image. I have done nothing different to make any changes just would like to know how I can remedy this. I use do use Firefox but am not a Mac user.

Your pictures do have titles (hover over them to see the titles—also visible in your source code), but your most recent post’s pictures do not have captions. Are you saying you no longer see/have the option to write captions?
BTW, this issue is different from the original poster’s question so perhaps you should start a new thread about captions and image titles.
