How do I remove unwanted image title?

But the file-name entries have to be saved >somewhere<. Maybe deleting the old revisions of the article could help?

Still the same damn thing. :(
Are they hidden in another dimension or how is it possible that nobody can find them? -

Why is no one able to solve this? It’s not like the half source-code has to be rewritten…

I’m pretty sure this has been fixed now. Can you check again?
If it’s still not working, I recommend just setting your own image title after uploading it for now.

Can’t see any fixes yet.
1. There’s still the EXIF data read-out.
2. Thus the Post URLs are wrong (and can’t be changed).
3. The incremental numbers of the File URLs keep bugging me.The first two problems can be solved by changing the EXIF information in the image (which was somewhat complicated), but there’s still no way to maintain the original file-name after the upload!

At this moment, no. It’s on the list of bugs being investigated. More than likely this is a core WordPress issue and will need to be send over to WordPress.org.

Unfortunately, I can’t say. We’re not connected in any way to the core development team.

It’s definitely not an issue with the core software, so we’re following up with it again over here.

Unfortunately, this looks like expected behavior in the core software (which we don’t have control over), probably related to canonical URLs, and probably not something that’s going to be changed.
To clarify my reply above, it’s definitely not an issue, because it’s expected behavior.
Sorry for the trouble!
