Image Uploading and Publishing Issues

Hi, i have a website that i have just published on the internet. Unfortunately the background photos didn’t make it and they don’t show up. I went into the site and tried uploading them but it says “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” when i use the browser uploader it gets stuck on “crunching” and the same thing happens on other web browsers as well (chrome and safari). I am using a Mac BTW with latest macOS.
I have tried disabling all my plugins and switching to “twentieth century theme” and the issue dis not go away.
I have tried upgrading my PHP as well.When i press publish it says “unable to publish, come back soon” or something, but when i reloaded my theme is switched to saying “published” when i pressed the button however it doesn’t actually publish and when i reload the customiser it disappears.
I don’t really know what to do from here.

Seems like you have tried general solution techniques like changing browser, clearing cache, changing theme, etc. I have marked this for staff attention. They will soon contact you.
Meanwhile, there are a couple of things that you can try, check to see if your website storage space is available, or has it been exhausted.
Also, try uploading the same image from a different machine, or a smartphone.Also it would help if you could provide your website address here.

It sounds like the site appears to be a self-hosted, WordPress (also called “.org”) site.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:

The website link is http://www.mokaffe.com.au. It is hosted on a2 hosting servers which i manage. I have only used 13% of my allocated 3GB of storage space.
I will try contacting my hosting support team.
