Image Uploading Error
-
I’ve been struggling with an Image Uploading Error for several months now. I thought the main issue was storage space. So after going back and forth with our Hosting, then deleting several files, I was able to upload an image, so I thought the issue was fixed.
But then I tried a second image, and I got a different error. Now it’s just saying: HTTP error.
The annoying part is that this seems to be off an on. Like one image will work, and then the next 10 or 12 tries won’t work. I’ve tried making sure they’re small enough, but resizing doesn’t seem to make any difference.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@victoryicdesigns can you confirm whether this is regarding rufflesandgrace.wordpress.com ? Are you uploading the image using https://wordpress.com/media, or wp-admin, or something else?
Usually this error indicates some kind of connection issue. You can also try another browser to see if it helps.

The domain I’m working with is http://victorialynnblog.com/ and its wp-admin
I’ve tried using several browsers, as well as different computers. I have an assistant who works with me, and we use different computers, and neither of us have been able to get it to work.
Any other suggestions? I appreciate any thoughts or advice you may have!

Hi there,
I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would reach out to your site host for help.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
Thanks!
