Image url disappears when clicking 'save'

  Trying to add another widget image to sidebar. I’m able to add all relevant info (image url and link) but when I click ‘save’ the image url disappears but link url info remains. Tried refreshing page before trying to add for several tries but still no go. Really wanted to add the postaday badge, too. Here’s the code I copied:

  As you said, that’s the image code: it’s what you might copypaste into the Text editor or into a Text widget. The Image widget requires the image URL. That is, the part from http up to and including the filetype (png in this case):
  http://dailypost.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/pad2014-s.png

  Note: it’s better and safer to use images uploaded to your blog rather than images hosted elsewhere. You could copy the image to your computer, upload it to your blog via Media > Add New, then click Edit and copy its URL from the File URL field of the Save module.

  Ok. That worked in the image widget. Thanks for you help. I haven’t ever had to upload media first before, but will remember that for the future.
