  when i try to post my website on facebook, the thumbnail of the url of the post comes as an unrecognisable image. How can i customize this image? so that it would match my website? thanks

  Your Blavatar is always used when sharing your blog’s main page on Facebook. See more Here. You may not have organized one yet.

  Aside from that if you ever start posting regular ‘posts’ here’s more information for facebook sharing and for posts themselves they require images / size recommended for Facebook Sharing is 600 x 315 pixels to 1200 x 630 pixels. And another link at WordPress.com

  Hi,

  I just did a trial share of your ‘home page’ and was given about 5 options.. using the facebooks little ‘arrow’ when sharing.. so it works ok like that (posting the url into ‘facebook share/status’.
