  I am trying to upload a button link to my website and am only seeing the little picture icon in replace of the actual image. I tried troubleshooting for the past 2 hours and am at wits end. I would love to know what I am doing wrong. Thank you for your time.

  Try just http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8252/8535817408_ed416485ba.jpg as the image URL.

  You’re welcome!

  The URL you were using before contained a query string, so it really wasn’t exactly an image URL.
