  I am trying to put a photo on the side of my page in the image widget. I used photobucket to get the image URL and pasted it into the URL portion of the widget. I filled in all of the other blanks including dimensions just in case. When I look at it on my page it says “go to image widget and reformat” (something along those lines). I need help getting an image on the side of my page. What are the steps I should take and what is the best way to get an image URL. I have a pc using windows.

  I highly recommend uploading your image to your Media Library here at WordPress.com. You can then follow the instructions on this page to get the URL for the image widget:
