Image Widget not working

  Hello,
  I’ve read a few posts but cannot find an answer to my problem.
  I want to upload an image widget. I follow the steps and save. When I view my blog the image is there and it says
  “Please configure the Image widget in your widget settings”
  when I click to ‘configure’ all the info I have put in is there except the URL of the image. I copy and paste this back in but the same keeps happening. I have done this about 10 times and I’m now pulling my hair out.

  Sometimes bloggers enter what they think is an image URL but actually isn’t. May I suggest that you check out the information here http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/images-the-three-link-options/ as I find the step by step instructions there to be helpful when used along side with these ones http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

  If you are still stumped then return to this thread and post the image URL here please.

  Thank you so much. Just tried again and used the file URL on the right side of the screen rather than the one above the image and it now works. Many thanks again and a happy new year!
