Image widget problem

  I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to put in two Image widgets into my sidebar. I type in the title, then the image’s URL. I press save. The URL in all cases disappears, then a message appears in my sidebar:

  Please configure the Image widget in your widget settings.
  Post a Week 2013

  I use Firefox 26.0. It doesn’t matter how many times I close/restart Firefox or reboot my machine, I get the same thing every time.

  I had the same problem. I was trying to use the Shortlink, which the image widget would not save. I finally saw the File URL on the right side of the Edit Media page, and that worked.
